As described below by the FTM Team, and using the coupon, I ordered, online, what I thought was a Free Upgrade to my 2008 version. When it arrived, I installed it; after 2 weeks realized it was not working, and then caught the "14 Day Trial" written on the cover. I was disappointed, but figured I had misunderstood the upgrade promotion. Fortunately I had not removed my 2008 version and data, so just resumed using it. Now I am really confused. Just pulled my FTM 2009 and realized the "14 day free trial" was for use of ancestry.com; the software itself is probably fine. I will just have to figure out how to re-install the 2009 version so that it recognizes the ancestry.com account I already have. Sorry for any confusion my experience my have caused.
