I just located baptismal records for Freeman Bridge (1806-1862) and several of his children, from 1850. He was an adult at the time and several of his children were teenagers, a couple were younger. I am wondering how unusual it would be for someone of that age to be baptized? It seems his wife Azuba was not among the baptized. While I am at it, I am looking for information on the parents of Freeman Bridge, who was married to Azuba Whitney (1818-1899) . Azuba's parents are Bartholomew Whitney and Sarah Safford. Again, any information would be helpful. I did find a marriage record for the Whitney - Safford wedding, again at Holy Trinity, noting Sarah to be a "minor". I am curious to know how old she was etc. Again, any assistance is appreciated. Hopefully I can return the favor some day!
