Hi Patricia I don't know anything about the parents of Sir John Johnson. I am however interested in your last name of Young. I'm descended from Julia Young, my great grandmother, who was the daughter of Alexander Young II and Mary Drew. Julia's grandparents were Andrew Young and Polly Currier and her great grandparents were Alexander Young I and Eliza (Elizabeth) Sneed (Snead). Alexander I, Eliza, and Andrew plus all of their other 9 children escaped from Skeenesborough NY now Whitehall in 1777 as United Empire Loyalists and settled near the Canadian/American border as pioneers in an area referred to as Caldwell Manor QC/ Alburg VT. Andrew and his wife Polly eventually moved to Stanstead were they settled as pioneers. Andrew's sister Margaret Young and her husband Charles Kilborn also moved to Stanstead as one of the original families.Where are your ancestors from? .
