I just wrote an email, but it might not have been delivered since I'm new to the list and wrote it before confirmation. So, here it is again. I am looking for information on a sawmill operated in the 1800s on Lot 3, Range 8, in West Sutton, which burned sometime along while they were still in business. It was owned by my 3rd-great-grandfather, Hosea Wing and his brothers, George and Ohel. As a time frame: Hosea was born in Dunham in 1818 and married Hulda Beers in 1839 So, I think it would have been in operation sometime around 1835 on. I'd like to know when it was in operation and when it burned -- and anything else about it that's been preserved. Thank you so much, Beverly Smith Vorpahl vorpahls@comcast.net (Spokane, WA)
