Okay When I get some time LOL. I can contact you personally, I haven't been able to go back any further than Richard's dad who was Purmort/Permont/Parent Ross. It all depends on what you find, when you find it and where you find it. Purmort has been a very "funny" man to locate. You would have thought that it would have been easy to find because of the different kind of name but because of that it has dot been fun. I have not had the time or the money for that fact to check into him further. So my research has been at a stand still for him. Let's keep in touch. Hi Nancy. Attached are photos of the cemetery in Bristol, IA. Though Bristol no longer exists, the county keeps up this Iowa pioneer cemetery. The headstones are those of William James Clark and Burton Boomhower who were born in Missisquoi and then later moved with their families to Iowa. A number of families from Dunham and Stanbridge came out west to Iowa (via Ohio) to live and farm in Bristol and the surrounding area.
