    3. Hello Pat, re: your trip to St.Catharines in May: Are you actually stopping and staying in Toronto itself? Or is it just transportation point? Is it possible for you to fly into Hamilton Airport instead? First, weather: will be decent, a light jacket, and a light sweater. Take umbrella and a couple of t-shirts (it CAN get warm in the day!) If you're landing at Toronto Airport (Pearson) and using public transit, then the most direct way to get from Pearson to St. Catharines is as follows: (these web links are to schedules and fares in order of travel): (local in-city transit info available at any of these points) on GO Transit: http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/downtown-schedFromYYZ-1.html (direct express bus from Pearson Airport to downtown Toronto at Union Stn.- connection point) (approx. 35-60 mins (usu. 35 mins) travel time dep. traffic/weather) fare:$16.45 (http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/tickets/main.cfm) then take: http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/schedule/pubsched.asp?table=16&direction =1&day=1&New=&station= (1 to 1 1/2 Hrs., Dep. traffic and weather) Fare:$8.60 (GO Express BUS service from Union Stn. Bus Terminal (same as train)) Toronto-Ham. Go Centre) OR take: http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/schedule/pubsched.asp?table=01&direction =1&day=1&page=2&New=&station=&zone= (about 1 to 1 1/2 Hrs.) (GO Transit TRAIN sched. from downtown Toronto (Union Stn.)-Ham. GO Centre) Fare:$8.60 Then take: http://www.coachcanada.com/coachcanada/ss.details.asp?action=Lookup&c1=Hamil ton&s1=ON&c2=St+Catharines&s2=ON&resultId=0461&order=&dayFilter=&scheduleCho ice=&sitePageName=%2Fcoachcanada%2Findex%2Easp&cbid=405159120565 Coach Canada aka Trentway/Wagar (Hamilton is an essential transfer point (unless someone else knows otherwise??)) (connecting bus service from Hamilton to St. Catharines (St. Catharines bus stn.) (1 to 1 1/2 Hrs., Dep. traffic and weather) fare: $13.95 Hope this helps Jean in BC >______________________________X-Message: #2 >Date: Mon, 30 Jan 2006 10:01:18 -0800 >From: Pat Connors <nymets11@pacbell.net> >To: CAN-ONTARIO-IRISH-L@rootsweb.com >Message-ID: <43DE546E.3000800@pacbell.net> >Subject: Re: [Ontario Irish] Not a list question but maybe someone can help. >Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed >Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > >> >> >>I am looking for a book > >If you check the Ireland Books section of my website, I have a number of >links to Irish bookstore, you might want to try some of them. > >>Take care and don't come to Ottawa today as we are having an Ice storm. >I am planning to stop in Toronto for a couple of days in May on my way to >Ireland, what kind of weather can I expect?
