Thanks, Jean, for all the info. I have printed it out and it is in my trip folder. Originally I was planning a trip to Ireland with one of my sons. I usually stay a couple of days in NYC coming and going to break up the trip, but my son wanted to go to Toronto for our lay over on the way over. Then I started thinking, well as long as I am there, I would love to check out the Ontario Archives and then a trip to St Catherine's Public Library. First, I was thinking of public transit and the with another thought, I want my son to visit Thorold where my Carters and Boyles lived, so he could walk the ground his ancestors walked on. And then being in Thorold, he would need to go to Niagara Falls, which he has never seen...so now I am there a couple of days and renting a car! While all this was taking place in my mind, I got a call from him and he said, work is sending him to India for month and we will have to put the trip off till Fall, which will also work.
