John McGEARY married Martha BLACK. John's brother James McGEARY married Martha's sister Ellen BLACK. The brothers were born in Ireland. Where and when they married the BLACK sisters is a mystery. It's unclear whether one or both of these couples actually emigrated to Ontario. Did any descendants of James McGEARY and Ellen BLACK settle in Simcoe County? I do know that descendants of John and Martha McGEARY lived in West Gwillimbury and Tecumseth townships in Simcoe County. The following information is taken from a very old set of family charts. John Daniel FRASER s/o Rev. W. FRASER & Jane GEDDIE) - Rachel 1855-1923 (m. W.S. FRASER 1850-1925) - James T. (m. Isabella McKAY) - Isabel - John Henry (m. Jessie McLAUGHLIN) - William (1868-1890) Children of John McGEARY and Jane DILLON: - Martha (m. Henry MITCHELL) - Elizabeth - Letitia (m.
