Hello-I'm new to the list. I'm researching the families of William Dagg and Nathaniel Bradley in Bruce Co., Ontatio. William Dagg emigrated from Modreeny Parish, Tipperary about 1840. Nathaniel Bradley emigrated from either Co. Cork or Co. Leix about the same time. I have some additional information about these families if anyone would like to swap. Pam S.
Do you kno if they were Protestant or Catholic? My Morgan family and Dagg family came from either Cork or Tipperary but earlier than your people. because their children were all born in March, Carlton Co., Ontario, Canada beginning in 1838. The Daggs in my family may have been at least in another township, because in the 1851 Census records I only find a few Daggs, and not much to tie them to Margaret Dagg. I am heartened to hear that there were Daggs in Tipperary. I had never heard of a parish, so that helps some. My people were all protestant. ----- Original Message ----- From: "pamscha" <pamscha@earthlink.net> To: <CAN-ONTARIO-IRISH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 24, 2005 10:53 AM Subject: [Ontario Irish] Dagg, Bradley > > Hello-I'm new to the list.
