They were Protestant. Both families were members of St. John Anglican Church in Bervie, Bruce Co., Ontario. The Daggs may have come earlier that 1840-there is conflicting information. I also think they may have settled 1st in another part of Ontario and moved to Kincardine Twp., Bruce Co. later. William's gd. daughter, Jane Dagg, married Nathaniel Bradley's gd. son.
