Please mark it on your calendar. “Who Do You Think You Are?” airs every Thursday night on CBC at 7:30 p.m. Friends of the Archives of Ontario have planned a couple of tours. On Saturday, November 10th at 12:30 p.m., there will be tour of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health followed by the film “The Madness of King George”. On Tuesday, November 20th at 1 p.m., there is a tour of the Toronto District School Boards' Sesquicentennial Museum and Archive. For further information on these tours, go to the website friendsofthearchives@yahoo.ca Information has just been received that the United Church Archives (Toronto) will be moving from Victoria University at the University of Toronto to the United Church of Canada’s General Council Offices at 3250 Bloor St. West, Toronto. It was uncertain for a while where this valuable information would end up, as it was getting too expensive to keep at the university. We have been assured that the information will be moved and stored according to the strictest archival standards. Good new indeed.
