Hi Patricia:- Thanks for doing the extra checking -- we receive many messages and I agree with you - However, if you did not find Arthur John J Insley, [which you did not find] it could have been a marriage -- So, folks, lets work on this one and solve it. Welcome to Kevin Culp -- just wondering if you born in the same part of Canada I was. I am not spending as much time at the computer at present, but am walking in my room - plus walker outside of my room. I will also give this question a search -- wish we had censii for the "in-between" years -- we are now working on 1852. Perhaps this mailer doesn't know that we don't do "Roll Call" messages on this list, and a reminder may be in order. I did do a check of 1901 and 1911 censii, and didn't find the surname either as INSLEY, ANSLEY or AINSLEY, in Simcoe East. They're not in "The Heart of Simcoe County," so it appears that if they did settle in the area, it was well into the 20th Century. The closest I came to any match at all was an Ethel WEBB, born 1881 in Innisfil Twp. This seems to be a message pertaining more to adoption than to genuine genealogy, and not by one of our regular list members, but I may be wrong about that assessment. Anyhow, I really appreciate all the work you do in keeping this list mostly free of roll-calls and similiar less than useful content. Arthur John J Insley and Ethel Beatrice (Webb) Insley. According to the ONTARIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY Ontario Cemetery Ancestor Search found that this URL http://ogs.andornot.com/CemeteryIndex.htm. Arthur and Ethel are buried in Coldwater Cemetery, Simcoe County, Medonte Township. Can anyone provide me with birth dates, death dates and obits for the following two individual's. Arthur JJ is my great grandfather and great grandmother that I never got to meet. It could be possible my grandfather is buried there to. His name is Arthur Insley born Apr 1912. Arthur's Jr had a daughter who is my mom ...Jean Insley Sorley Culp that later got adopted by my other grandfather. This means a lot to my brother and I because we never knew my mom was adopted until 6 weeks ago. Thanking you in advance.
