His wife was Rachel (?) and a son Richard (who is my great grandfather was born either Staynor or Thornton in 1855 or 56. Richard married Isabella Corbett. Family lore says the Pearsons came from Cork Ireland but that too has become a stumbling block. No sign of them immigrating to Canada.
