Not only are they strict about records after 1910, they're the same about early records as well and will give you the film number at LDS where you can find the info for yourself. The office is run by an over-worked lay person. Secondly, that is all you will receive - a typed document. The old registers can no longer be photocopied. Please note: the Archdiocese of Toronto has very strict rules about access to information from their registers after 1910. They have forbidden the local churches to do this type of work unless it is required for legal purposes and the party is dead. I've posted information on this previously. See the mailing list archives. You can see the registers on LDS microfilms #1305885-6-7 and make a copy of the entry OR You can send your request to the Penetang Museum which has copies of all the original registers.
