There is an LDS church in my town (Powell River BC) and I have used it before to order in films for the paternal side of my family. I will have them bring in the 1991 film for Dufferin co as I believe that is where I will find the Thomas Walker listing for that year. Tracy (note spelling--no 'e') may well have been unaware of his birth father's name, though you will note that in the 1881 census there were two children, Tracy and William O.A. who were listed as 1 year old, so unless he thought he was a twin, he must have been aware at some point that he was adopted. I had some correspondence with Helen Gilbert, wife of a Gilbert decendent of my line. She had never heard of Tracy but supplied me with much information on the family and pictures of Hezekiah and his syblings, including a brother, William Tracy Gilbert, who was doubtless my Tracy's namesake as well as his uncle.
