This you likely already have. On the 1891 census for Simcoe, there is a Thomas Walker but none of the children listed with him are any match for the ones on the 1881 census so I don't think that it is the right family. No Tracey Gilbetr or Tracey Walker on the Simcoe census that I can find. I have the 1891 CD. Registration was very spasmodic in "northern' Ontario at the time of Tracey's birth. Simcoe could still have been considered north I think. The government assessor only came around periodically and lots of registrations just never happened. As Tracey Walker was in Mulmur in 1881 and 1901, chances are he was there in 1891. Mulmur is one of those townships that moved counties every once in awhile. I suspect it is not in Simcoe County in 1891. There is no Mulmur County on 1891 CD of Simcoe County. It was likely in Dufferin County. If you get the 1891 census either through your local library or LDS library you may find him. 1891 is not on line yet for Dufferin is not on line yet as far as I can find. Thomas is still in Mulmur in 1901 census so they never moved so must be there in 1891. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
