Hello, Don't know if there is any connection, but I have heard that Lorenzo became a very popular name in the early to mid nineteenth century especially for Methodists because of the preaching of Lorenzo Dow. Stephens and Susannah Armstrong)...? my great uncle and his son both have the middle name Lorenzo.. it seems unusual and wondered if anyone familiar with this family might know the origin of the Lorenzo name. But actually any info on the Stephens family of Tecumseth, Beeton and Alliston is WELCOME... thanks, CL Ferguson-Sands of Kalamazoo --------------------------------- Be a better sports nut!
