Hi, My husband is the 5th Gr-Grandson of Shadrack (1761 - bef. 1838) & Lydia STEPHENS. They settled in Whitchurch Twp., York Co. I have found that they have a descendant named Alonzo. The names mentioned below are familiar ones in this family as well. Do your records go back far enough to connect? John Shadrach Stephens is the son of Frederick (Fred) Smith Stephens. My great great grandfather was Alfred O. Stephens (1831-1900) John Shadrach's brother. I have John Shadrach Stephens married to Annie McKay, 2 May 1871, I have only one son listed, Frederick b. 1874 m. Nettie Taylor in 190- thanks for the rest. It is interesting that Lorenzo was with this branch of our family and may be the connection to my great uncle Albert Lorenzo Stephens..or they all liked the name Lorenzo.. I love this genealogy stuff.. the more you learn the more questions arise to investigate further! The Stephens family has a rich history. Thank you for sharing. Sons are Melvin, Fred, Milton, Ernest and Lorenzo ; daughters are Mabel, Laura and Florence. Do any of these sound familiar?
