    1. [CAN-ONT-SIMCOE] Simpson Family
    2. Lynne Kemp
    3. Hi Paul: I have been trying to see if I can help sort out this puzzle for you. I thought maybe going back another generation might help. I see that Ezra Simpson is the son of William and Ann. Do you know who Thomas' (who married Sarah Archibald in King in 1873) father is? It just gives his mother, Sarah's, name on their marriage registration. Also, do you happen to know when he died and the location? I see that Ezra's parents, William and Ann, were both born in Suffolk, England so I was trying to see if I could find out if Thomas' father was born there too. I think it is likely they were cousins (Thomas and Ezra) since Thomas would only have been about seven on the 1861 census and would likely still be living with the rest of the family in Oro Township. Also, Ann Simpson was 68 years of age then so couldn't be his mother. Regards, Lynne Kemp. P.S. Did you know the Mosley's were living in Toronto on the 1911 census? Also, there is a William Simpson living in King Township on the 1851 census but I don't seem to be able to access it right now. > Does anyone know if there was a blood relationship between EZRA SIMPSON (> Senior ) of East Oro, and later Orillia .. and Thomas Simpson of Midland> ????> > > > Story shakes out, as follows :> > > > Dr. William Harold Mosley, the first dentist in MIDLAND .. prior to 1900 .> was my wife, Ruth's maternal Grandfather. > > He married CORAH MAUD SIMPSON , June 26, 1895, in Parry Sound, Ontario.> > Corah Maud died, May 25, 1901, in Midland, as a result of childbirth, May 8,> 1901.
