    3. Hi Jopie Loughhead was a great support as I searched my Simcoe County roots. She sent me details of their settlement and many newspaper clippings over more than a decade. She was active on both the Simcoe County Rootsweb list and through the Bruce Grey Ontario Genealogical Society. She was a great contributor to the Simcoe County Roostweb list. Through it she raised the profile of Collingwood and likely drew many visitors to town. I have saved 61 instances of her contributions to Simcoe County genealogy on my computer data base. She is very deserving of recognition by the Awarding of the Order of Collingwood.
