    3. Hi Tish: If you think the marriage I sent could be the right couple, there are WWI pension papers for a Horace Knox who may be the one you are looking for. He was promoted to Corporal in March, 1918 and discharged from the British army on April 2, 1919. This would fit the time frame for them being in Simcoe Co. early 1920's. I found an Edith M. who I think is the same one on the 1901 census for Essex. You didn't mention Edith's parents or brother's names but this one is the daughter of Robert and Mary and the sister of Robert. Do you think this is the right family? Regards, Lynne. > Thanks to Pam. I have no proof as yet, but I am looking for an Edith > Matilda VALE, and wonder if she might not have been married in England, or > was a war bride from there, during the 1st War.> > I can find no marriage record in Ontario through Ancestry, of even the IGI, > and not any death record either. I know she was in Ontario, Simcoe Co. in > the early 1920s. Her mother and brother were in Midland in the early 1920s, > and am hoping that someone can come up with her husband's name, or the place > of their abode.> _________________________________________________________________ R U Ready for Windows Live Messenger Beta 8.5?
