My ggg grandfather was born there in 1834 and his name was Thomas James LeDuc or Leduc. Hewent on to become a schoolteacher and moved to B.C. where he married Rose Schubert and pursued his teaching for a few years in Cache Creek and later Armstrong where he then became a farmer. He later divorced from Rose but continued to live out his life outside of Armstrong. I know a fair bit about him but am really interested in pursuing his ancestry. I believe his father was born in Quebec around 1811 and later moved to Ontario, his name was also Thomas Leduc. If I am correct in this, I would love some help in finding out about his wife and other children. There are so many Leduc's in Ontario and Quebec that I get very confused but will probably be able to sort it out with abit of help. I am thinking that because there are still quite a few Leducs in Ontario, someone else in the family may recognize so! me of this info and assist me. Thanks so much for any help available.
