HI Lynn I don't think I am related to your Dunn/Ennis family. John Dunn is my great great grandfather. Any information you could send me from the assessment roll would be greatly appreciated. I have a connection to Margaret Dunn through marriage to Robert Ennis/Innis. I believe the family you may be interested in would be the John Dunn family. Is that correct? If so, I did note that one of the military grants on the 7th concession was to John Dunn. If you would like the details from the index, I will copy them when I check the records for Ardis. I did, however, write down a few details when I checked assessment rolls at the Simcoe Archives. In 1859, John Dunn, age 55, was on Concession 7, Lot 18. In 1860, Thomas Dunn, age 24, was on Concession 7, Lot 17 and I think it said 40 acres but it was hard to read. Regards, Lynne Kemp. > My Dunn family lived on the 7th concession in Vespra township.
