I really need some help as I have gone as far as I can on a family until the 1891 and 1871 census becomes available. I have a family that shows up in the 1881 as an Irish family. In 1901 they are listed as English and Canadian. However, I was contacted a couple of days ago by someone who is saying they are connected to his German family. If anyone with access could find the husband in 1871 and/or the family in 1891 I would really appreciate it. "John Fox" is a very, very popular name, and most of those that I saw in HoH 1871 Census are either of English or Irish origin. >From the 1871 HoH only Census - here are those persons with surname Fox with German origin, perhaps you can double check later Census for any connections.
