My ggg granfather was Charles Johnston of Janetville and it appears from your names and locations there is a connection. His son James and his sons William, James and Perry Johnston all moved to Michigan around 1900. Perry was my great granfather.I also ran across other Johnstons descended from same family by the name of Bunting in Midland... If anything connects with your research I would love to hear from you.
