Hi Bill: Many thanks for your email. No, I have not seen the book on Adjala, and the story on the Hamilton Family. Can you provide the full name, and the Library Number ? I am specifically interested in the Elizabeth White-John Hamilton family. I have most (all) of their direct descendents, but nothing on the 2nd or 3rd generations. Elizabeth was the younger sister of my grandfather, John White. John White married Priscilla Cobean (b 1842). Priscilla was the daughter of John Cobean & Hannah Fleming. John Cobean was the son of John Cobean & Mary ????. John White & Priscilla Cobean eventually moved to the 3rd Line, Mono, near Mono Centre, and in 1890, to Orangeville. I would be quite interested, and appreciative of any other information, and possible photos of these families. I have extensive info on the White Families of Albion, Adjala & Mono, that I will share with interested parties. George White, who married Hannah Hurst, lived on L2 Con 4, Adjala. George died at a young age, but his son, and grandson, maintained the Adjala Farm until 1936.
