It appears that John Mason's father and one of his brother's were named Stewart. The son Stewart may have been born in Ireland. There is at least one other son named Samuel. Not sure how Mary Jane and Georgina Mercer fit into the Mercer family yet. That would appear to be the Barkley connection.
