Friday and yesterday, I made two batches of cookies. Today I delivered them, and then help make dozens more, and then we packaged them, 4 to 6 to a package (depending on their size). Some were peanut butter, some were shortbread, topped with red, or white or blue sugar, some were sugar cookies topped with sprinkles, some lemon cookies. These cookies are for what is called "Treats for Troops". It is a loose organization of local people who make cookies and send off about 1000 every month to the troops.
