Hi John: I do not think Muriel misdirected anyone. One needs to be careful opening any attachment. The general rule is to not open any attachments unless you know the sender! Virus & gremlins can be inserted into all sorts of files and attachments. The wisest course is to just delete messages sent by unknown persons and to be very wary about opening attachments. If you simply cannot resists attachments, download to a CD and view from that medium. Definitely use PDF files frequently but no longer use ADOBE. The program Foxit reads PDFs and is less than 1/4 the resource hog of ADOBE.
