Hello all, Another day at the museum and more interesting items just keep appearing................. A few weeks ago, we given a collection of material that was no longer wanted. It has taken a roundabout path to get to us but its journey may not be finished - we would like to find someone researching this family. In the event we can't find a home for it, then it will go down into the Archives where it will be cared for, but probably never be seen again. What a shame that would be! It is a collection of items from the Hale and Spurr families of Penetanguishene and England, including estate information, newspaper clippings, photographs (some very old), funeral home visitation books, World War ll memorabilia, thank you cards, announcements etc. One could put together four or five generations of this family just from the material in the collection. Harry Hale - 1889 England - 1963 Penetanguishene Ada Spurr - 1887 England - 1971 Penetanguishene You won't have to answer a skill testing question to qualify as the new owner, but you will have to prove a connection to the family.
