Lynne, Thanks for looking. That's the only one I found when I googled it. John McKinnon was born in Erin Twp where his parents are buried. One brother Neil went to Michigan but the other siblings lived in Bruce County and most are buried in Port Elgin. In fact in the 1901 census he is living in Port Elgin with his sister Margaret and her husband Abram Smith, another spinster sister Sarah and a widowed Aunt Nancy. There is no connection I know of, with BC....or even with Simcoe County, except for the fact that he was in the hospital there.
