John Leslie died 6 March 1899 Tossoronto twp., Simcoe Cty., Ont.. He married Margaret Ann Attridge 16 Oct 1887 at Allison, Ont. I have two sons born to this couple but no more information at this time. I am researching the Attridge family. John and Margaret had 2 sons and 1 daughter: Johnson not sure of birth date but died in 1919 WW1, Mary, Jack not sure of his birth date but died 1956. Son of JOHN LESLIE and MARGARET ANN ATTRIDGE is WILLIAM JOHNSTON LESLIE. I found his World War One draft registration which indicated that he went by the name "JOHNSTON LESLIE". It lists his parents as JOHN LESLIE and MAGGIE HILTS formerly LESLIE. (In it is described a 21 year-old who was 5' 5 1/2" tall, 32-in. chest, brown hair, brown eyes, med. complexion.) In the Canadian Virtual War Museum, I found that he died on March 7, 1919 and is buried in the HUY COMMUNAL CEMETERY of La Sarte, in the province of Liege, Belgium. I am researching the ATTRIDGE family.
