    3. Thanks Lauraine! NO -- I definitely did not misdirect anyone re PDF messages -- the little critters are coming directly to my personal email, plus the bounces on the mail lists One has to be careful and should you see and adddress such as andsva@cgi.fm.ca.pdf get rid of the thing as soon as possible. There were many messages re SPAMMING by Earthlink on Listowners -- and I do not believe this -- I think it is being done by some people who should be out working off some of their energy during the summer. My four step-children and three children all had summer jobs -- even if baby-sitting. For any who are lovers of fish, my oldest stepson had the best job -- selling fish from a van - bringing lobster and halibut home for both of us. By all means -- check who is sending you a cute note! These are in addition to the ones bounced on the mail list. Hi John: I do not think Muriel misdirected anyone. One needs to be careful opening any attachment. The general rule is to not open any attachments unless you know the sender! Virus & gremlins can be inserted into all sorts of files and attachments. The wisest course is to just delete messages sent by unknown persons and to be very wary about opening attachments. If you simply cannot resists attachments, download to a CD and view from that medium. Definitely use PDF files frequently but no longer use ADOBE. The program Foxit reads PDFs and is less than 1/4 the resource hog of ADOBE.
