JANE . and J. DRAPER .... watch for the progression of owners of B. Frank Stewart's Photography Shop, in ORILLIA. I have a picture, bearing an imprint of B. FRANK STEWART, ORILLIA, ONTARIO, definitely taken after 1900 .. young girl in picture was born 1903 . I have another, BERT ROBBINS , (born 1893 .. age in picture perhaps 3) , imprinted FROM THE STUDIO OF WHITEN & STEWART, ORILLIA, ONTARIO. And yet more . imprinted FROM THE STUDIO OF G.E. WHITEN, ORILLIA, Ontario. ORILLIA would seem to have been the seat of SEVERAL good photographers, in the same time frame , Oliver T. WRIGHT, C.A.BROWN, H.N.GRANT, C.J.SHIRE, H.R.NIEBEL, PAM TESSIER ... I have over 85 photos, on a disc, in a format known as PICTURE IT . MIX which Windows VISTA can not read. With Microsoft Picture It 2000 software, WINDOWS XP could read it, and the programme worked well. Now, I am up the proverbial creek !!!! If your computers work on WINDOWS XP, or an earlier version, the disc is yours. Will give you the PICTURE IT 2000 , TO COPY INTO YOUR MACHINE. Will need a driver, which XP has/had on the net. All that I would like is a descent copy of each picture on the disc. ( So that I can start, again !!!!!!!! ) Note for MURIEL .. Old computer crashed . Hard drive was KAPUT .. so plunged for new windows vista, ONLY TO FIND THAT EVERYTHING I OWN, INCLUDING MY CAMERA, is obsolete, and no longer supported. There are 2 listings for a B.F. Stewart and a Frank B.Stewart after 1900, one goes to 1923 the other goes to 1925.
