    3. Yes Muriel, it is a nasty business. Some that have tripped me up lately have had regular names for sender and subject line would include "admin" or "genealogy" or "history"........ and I opened the door! But not any more. Cheers! However, these creatures get past Rootsweb security -- and the ones I receive cannot be copied -- might blow up the computer! I have never seen so much bad language since I was the only female with 25 men in a newspaper composing room. Muriel ----- Original Message ----- From: "D.O. Therefore I ask that when sending a personal comment or request to me off-list please identify the subject with a "SIMCOE" in the subject line. Sometimes I open an email because I recognize a name (or think I do) only to find - Ooopps! Egad, I've been duped! Many thanks - Stay cool wherever you are. 3. Doreen -- Believe it or not, I received 10 copies of the same ?? e-mail this morning, one was Fwd: and the other Re: -- copied by other senders -- all listed as non-members by Rootsweb. My question is -- If they know they are NON-MEMBERS, why send the message. At the same time, many have been bounced or deleted from lists so I am going to start keeping a record of this. >From people on the Simcoe list, if they wish to unsubscribe for some reason, use Can-Ont-Simcoe-Admin@rootsweb.com Do not send the request form -- which goes to Mailman, if they unsub someone, they usually do a few more. Hope I do not hear from anyone, except for vacations. I prefer to do my own work. Muriel ----- Original Message ----- From: "D.O. 3. Muriel, I think most spam is automatically generated by a computer that scans the internet for email addresses and then sends off the spam messages. It isn't sent by an individual who makes a decision to send you or the list a message.
