His wife's name was Ann and he had at least one son, Thomas, born around 1841. I found his name from Thomas' marriage record, and other than that I have nothing to go on. I found a reference in the Canadian Genealogy Index 1600-1900s of Abram Stewart Living 1858 Ontario Simcoe Co. but I don't know if it's the same man I'm looking for. Abram was from Ireland and I don't know if he and Ann emigrated to Canada or whether Thomas came to Canada on his own. I would love to find out any information about Abram and his wife (her maiden name, parents,) anything at all. I need to be able to trace the Stewart line back farther than Thomas.
