They are associated with Tecumseth Township, and West Gwillimbury Twp. (Simcoe County and Mono Township (now Dufferin County but formerly Simcoe Co.). In particular my husbands great grandfather is Isaac Pierson married to Margaret Ferguson. Also, today my husband & I searched the Wilson Pioneer Cemetery (Concession 12 & County Road 27 in West Gwillimbury), there are lots of Cunninghams buried in that cemetery - high on a hill and you climb up through a bush to get to it - a real adventure.
