    3. I need some help as I wind down the soldiers of World War 1 project. So far, of the 144 fellows I have researched, only one man has eluded me and an expert on that particular family. However, I have a few more who are proving difficult to locate information for. Maybe I am just getting tired and missing the obvious. Note that I have checked all our local church records, OVS and census returns. 1) JUVIN, George - born Penetang 14 Feb. 1884. Father Edward's residence in 1917 is Webbwood and George's is John Island. In 1917 George was unmarried and a labourer. He signed his draft document with an X in Sudbury. 2) THERRIEN, Peter - born Penetang Feb. 1897 to father Jack Therrien. Unmarried labourer, could not write. Enlisted March 1916. Residence Penetang but signed his papers in Byng Inlet. I have a few leads on this fellow but no concrete proof of who he is. 3) KING, Frank - born May 1896 in Penetang. Father Alex. Both living in Key Junction (Parry Sound district) in 1918. He is a 'defaulter', unmarried, a farmer and signed his draft document in Sudbury on March 1918. 4) McCONNELL, John - born November 1875 in Penetang. Father's name is James. He is an unmarried teamster who served 3 seasons with the Ontario Volunteers prior to signing his papers on 24 March 1915 in Calgary. Thanks for any help! Pam
