Probably because the informant didn't know what her mother's maiden name was. Victoria Dusome's mother may be Marie Sauve. There is no record (civil or religious) of a Victoria born to Marie Sauve and William Dusome but then no Marie Dault married a William Dusome. Have fun! Pam
