I cannot seem to locate the above fellow in the usual records. He was drafted in 1917 and claimed to be the son of Delia PERAULT, born 27th January 1886 in Lafontaine. Delia was living in Victoria Harbour in 1917 and Joseph Daniel was living in Hamilton when he was drafted. I suspect his parents are Delia Forget and Francois Perrault, living in Tay Township in 1901 and earlier in Midland. The baptisms of a few of their children are in the Ste. Croix church records but there is no baptism for a son named Joseph Daniel. Nor is there a birth registration for this child. I'd like to connect him to a local (Penetang area) family, if possible so any help would be appreciated. Pam
