David AUSTIN died Dec 1887, at Tecumseth Township, Simcoe County, Ontario. David AUSTIN's wife and co-executor Mary AUSTIN inherited SE1/4 Lot 4 Con II Tecumseth Twp. (valued at $24,500). Step-sons Robert LOWERY, James LOWERY, John LOWERY and David LOWERY received $1000, and farm upon Mary AUSTIN's death. Un-named children of David AUSTIN's deceased sister Margaret AUSTIN: $500 ea., sister Mary Ann HAMMELL $1000, nephews Richard HAMMELL and Samuel HAMMELL $500 ea., friend John RICHARDSON $500. William ATKINSON, co-executor, to share in and pay out remainder of estate to Mary AUSTIN "as deemed necessary". "Erect a suitable monument".
