Martin who was born in Ponsanooth, Cornwall in 1834 - he married Abigail Hill around 1858 in Toronto - first place of residence was Vaughn township then to Barrie, Bell Ewart, Innisifl and Thornton. I have found the original family on 1851 English census - William H.Martin married Mary Ann Paul- sons were William,James, Edward and George - no mention of daughter but in my great grandfather's obit in Ontario mentioned sister Mrs. Hugh McDonald. Mary Ann RosaS nee Martin in theUS. - I also belong to Ancestry in US - Abigail Hill was daughter of George Hill and Jane Reid m. 1838 Toronto.
