Hello Listers, I'm trying to place the obit for a Garnet Payne son of David Payne. He died in August of 1937 at Foxmead. The obit says Garnet was 13 years old and died by falling on a pitchfork while working on his farm. The article mentions surviving relatives: a sister Mrs. A. Beers, brothers Gordon and Earl all of Lindsay and 4 sisters Alice, Irene, Bernice and a baby at home as well as two brothers Frank and William at home. Interment was at St. Andrew's cemetery in Orillia. I am trying to determine if Garnet and his father David Payne were descendants of David Payne and his wife Sophia Turner. Does anyone have any info regarding the above family? Thanks for any information. Gwen Cunningham
