He is the son of Lauchlan and Mary (Plumkett) Johnston. The last that I have on him is in his sister Sarah's Obit in 1943 that he is living in Toronto. A small clue turned up when the list of Johnstons was kindly sent to me by the gentleman who is transcribing this cemetery. It reads: Wm Thomson Johnston R25-GN-1. There is also a possible wife, Velma M. (Tennant) Johnston R25-GN-1. Is there possibly someone going in to Barrie or Orillia who could do a look up for me at the library?
