    3. Do you happen to have any information on the other Charles Ladouceur dit Sweet, b 1806-1811 Bas Canada?   Shar --- On Tue, 8/25/09, Conlin <[email protected]> wrote: From: Conlin <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [CAN-ONT-SIMCOE] Charles Ladouceur To: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 12:21 PM Good Morning Sharlene: Sometimes the writing or the page may be clearer when viewing an entry from the Drouin Collection by using LDS Pilot.  Unfortunately it is not indexed so you really need to view Ancestry or some other source to get the date of the event first.  >From LDS Pilot for Saint-Joachim-de-la-Pointe-Claire 1810-1819, Image No. 17 for 26 November 1810: Marriage between Albert lamagdeleine adult son of Joachim lamagdeleine ladoceur of the parish called St ann and marie francoise lebrun and marie catherine biroleau minor daughter of the deceased Jean baptiste biroleau day worker and marie amarante of the parish of ste eustache. NB:  The entry for the above marriage did not include many capital letters for names or locations but there was no reference to a dit name in the entry.  However PRDH shows that a marriage took place between Jean Baptiste Biroleau Lafleur & Marie Amarante/Emerante in Ste Eustache in 1769 and that Marie Catherine Biroleau was baptized there in 1792. No dite name was used for her baptism entry in PRDH. PRDH also shows a marriage entry in Ste-Genevieve, Pierrefonds for 1770 of Francoise Girard Floridor Lebrun & Joachim Lamadeleine* Ladouceur Vivien. *The spelling of Lamagdeleine has been standardized to Lamadeleine. I do not have a subscription to PRDH to obtain details but the above is available through the public access at http://www.genealogie.umontreal.ca/en/ Cheers!
