Pam Tessier , and others were following the story of a BRITISH HOME CHILD. HERE is where it all comes together. Circumstances, being what they are, we may not make it, but this promises to be a GOOD one, FOR THOSE INTERESTED. As a background, in 1984, we purchased a home, in CRAIGHURST, Ontario, once owned by Mabel Stone, a British Home Child, who came to Canada, in 1905. Long , and facinating story, about Mabel, and her eventual ownership of the home, in which she was raised. We came into ownership of the SEA-CHEST, which Mabel brought with her, from ENGLAND, IN 1905. Still in perfect condition. The story is told, in a new book, being published, which ( we presume ) will be available at this time. The whole story is told, in the new book. Contact Gail Collins, for further details.
