    3. Hi, I just discovered something I thought was interesting. I was using the search page for the Land Petitions of Upper Canada on-line at the National Archives and tried putting in township names instead of surnames and got some 'hits' for places such as Oro, Medonte, Vespra, Barrie, etc. Thought someone might find something on these films that they would like to order from the Archives through inter-library loan. While you can order the films through the inter-library loan program from Ottawa, they are readily available (not online) at the North York Library, 6th floor, Toronto: you don't need a reservation, or appointment. I was in there last week looking at the ones pertaining to my ancestors.
