    3. This letter was written in 1928 or 1929 - unsure of exact date but sure it's one of those two years. Addressed to: Health Dept.Penetang Gentlemen: Are you aware of the fact, that General Stores are illegally selling Bayers Aspirin, as you know this is directly against the Ontario Statutes, we must ask you to at least warn the trade to stop this unfair trading. We do not ask prosecution. Merely a warning would suffice. A Victim I just thought it was interesting that "a victim" would be complaining of this. Was the victim a drugstore owner? A doctor? I suppose we'll never know. But I suspect they'd be shocked at what can be bought at any number of establishments today. And as a further point of interest, Penetanguishene Board of Health members for 1929 were Dr. P.A. McDonald, Joseph Hatton and Mayor J.B. Jennings. Another trivial offering from, Deborah Crawford
