Any one know anything else about this man? Relatives? Life after the War? Sgt. George T. (aka G.T.) CHRETIEN was born on 17 April 1916 to Amable Chretien and Marie Alice Moreau of Penetanguishene. He enlisted in the Canadian Air Force in Windsor, Ontario. He received his wings in Moncton, N.B. on 17 November 1941 and arrived in England 24 December 1941. G.T. received a shrapnel wound to his neck during a raid over Kiel, Germany. I have accounts of that raid and his heroism. Before his enlistment and after completing his schooling, he was a race horse groomer for J.S. Gordon. Pam
