    3. Hi Gwen: Just so you know, you can't send attachments with your postings to any of the Rootsweb lists so what you sent did not come thru. If you go to the Simcoe County OGS Settler's Database Advanced search page here: http://www.simcoebogs.com/database/settlersdata_search.php Type in Gilchrist on the surname line, then on the Source line, change it to "starts with" and type in Barrie, a list of Gilchrist's buried in Barrie Union Cemetery come up. If any of the resulting entries appear to be yours I can look up the death reg to see if they died at a time when Place of Burial was one of the categories, if you like. You might also want to search the Barrie Public Library newspaper index for the surname Gilchrist: http://news.ourontario.ca/barrie/search If you find entries that appear to be your people you can email the library for the entries. I don't think they charge for this but it may depend on how many you ask for. If someone has the Barrie Union transcriptions, it would help if you would post the names you are looking for since you can't send attachments to the list. If so, would you please look up to see if there are inscriptions for the Gilchrist Family. I have the original parents John Gilchrist and Ann McCuaig being buried at Knox Presbyterian Cemetery in Oro. I believe several of their children lived in Barrie and were buried in Barrie Union. I am attaching a copy of the will of one of their children, Donald, who names his siblings, so you can see who might be buried there. > Thanks in advance for any help. > Sincerely, > Gwen Cunningham > gwenny@snet.net > ***************** > Ten People All Genealogists Should Follow On Twitter: http://tr.im/hBAy > > Simcoe Co.
